The banks have developed four sandboxes for the Challenge, which include a combination of open banking, open finance, and experimental services.
Each bank's sandbox will enable participants to test the APIs in an experimentation environment, plus use these resources to build and validate their innovations for the Challenge.
Click on the logos below to view the APIs which are available for each bank.
The Account & Transaction API gives read-only access to customer account information and transaction data.
The Customer API gives read-only access to personal customer information. Access is granted through an explicit consent, which must be provided by the customer.
Provides access to information on additional account types held by a customer (e.g. Loans, Mortgage Accounts), including balances and transactional history.
Enables your customers to apply for a new debit card, initiating the account opening and application submission processes, as well as providing customers with the ability to block their card.

Provides customers with the ability to adjust their overdraft limit for an account held in their name.
Verify the income of your customers with real-time visibility, leveraging the power of open banking to truly understand an individual's income.

The Confirmation of Funds API enables Card Based Payment Instrument Issuer applications to verify that an account holds sufficient funds in the currency of the account.
The Payment Initiation API enables applications to make payments directly from a customer's account. Customers remain in control, providing approval for each payment.
The Confirmation of Payee (CoP) allows you to check the account details of a payee with their bank before you create a beneficiary or payment.
Enables your customers to automate the movement of funds between two accounts in their name.
Enables your customers to safely connect authorised payments providers to their bank account so they can make payments on the customer's behalf, within agreed parameters.
Provides enriching metadata about a payment transaction, such as the merchant codes and other valuable information.
Allows the setup, retrieval and management of automatic, scheduled, or recurring electronic payments to registered payees.
Enables your customers to stop a cheque from being executed.
Enable your customers to buy more and offer them payment financing, with a simple and fast online process.
The Event Notification API allows the bank to send event notifications to applications. It allows you to register to receive, and to poll for, event notifications.
